I caught trout in eight new creeks since my last post, including four from my bucket list. I also fished some home water and old favorites, and I got to spend time with some fishing buddies.

Not coaching soccer this season has really freed me up to fish more, and I packed a lot into one month. I got ten new creeks, including four from my bucket list! I was also invited to the Rocky River Trout Unlimited Alarka camping trip and got to share some of my old favorite streams with some new fishing buddies.

Jason Jefferies and I hiked in above the old Hendersonville Watershed at the head of North Mills River to get one of my bucket list creeks. Jason has become my go-to guy for those back-country trips that I'm too old to do by myself anymore.
